Although Mercedes will debut its new SL on 28th of October, this company came with a new teaser of interior to spice it up. We are not unfamiliar with this vehicle, but having a new glance on it wouldn’t be at all boring. Mercedes-AMG has many plans for its new car.
Mercedes-AMG SL will go under the spotlights this week. But as there are many other debuts by the end of October, Mercedes made the first step and teased again the interior. Actually, inside the cabin is fully redesigned and the latest innovations of company are used. Mercedes has before revealed its new rotatable infotainment screen. By this way, never again reflecting the sunlight would stop the passengers to see the infotainment clearly.
Except from the infotainment screen, there are no more surprises. Dashboard is fully symmetrical. New design air vents are also interesting. Also, driver has its own screen for the instrument cluster. Other things are still as we have seen before.
The powertrain is the biggest mystery of this car, and it seems, Mercedes has no intend to reveal technical before debut time. By the way, according to some spy shots we can just make guesses. The rear bumper has a charger port cover, the same as on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance. As its will be a plug-in hybrid car, we couldn’t expect a V8, but a 2.0-liter turbocharger is more suitable. As rumors says, the total output would reach to 578 hp and a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Good news is that, SL will be all-wheel drive thanks to the hybrid powertrain setup.
The other feature that separates SL from the former models, is the weight discretization. The body design is also very beautiful, as the new artistic touches made the differences. Just on Thursday, Mercedes-AMG will officially reveal the new SL.
