Mercedes-Benz at the Munich IAA show is doing great. We see a full line up of electric cars by this German automaker.one of the new member of the family is the EQE. The EQS was the first name for the Mercedes electric car, and now is EQE 350. It’s a member of electric cars of Mercedes.

Physical Look

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 is not quite fancy like the EQS but we can compare it with the E-Class or S-Class models. The EQE is a bit shorter than the EQS and of course more compact. It is 4,934 millimeters long, and the wheelbase is 3,122 millimeters. In both measures its smaller than EQS. Power System

The powering system of this EQE is consist of a 90.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack and a 215.0-kilowatt electric motor which is connected to the rear axle. The output of this car can reach to 288 hp and 530 Nm of torque is delivered to the rear-wheel. However, the costumers can order 4Matic all-wheel drive too. One an electric motor to the front axle would be added to the front axle. The single-speed transmission can handle all.

Travel Range

Considering the European WLTP cycle this vehicle can hit 660 km with single charge, but if US EPA scale employed, the range would drop low. Still this EV can use the fast charge system and reaches to 80 percent charge just in 31 minutes.

Suspension

Like the gas-powered car, S Class, this electric car, uses the standard four-link front suspension and multi-link rear. The optional rear-wheel steering can increase the steering angle for 10 degrees. Other bespoke feature for this EQE, is the Airmatic air suspension with an adaptive damping system. That means in sport mode, the adaptive dampers can reduce the ride height by 1.0 inch at speeds over 75 miles per hour to help reduce drag and increase stability. Also, by lower than 25 miles per hour, driver can lift the suspension manually for one inch.

Technology And Software
