Munich Motor Show goes on, and there are many of the future cars. One of them is for Smart. This company has announced its electric crossover in this show after it was a failure about 16 years ago. This time Smart has the enough finance and also big companies like Daimler and Geely behind its back.
You can name this new car, Concept #1. As this car reveals, Smart is not just a junior company, they have bigger plans for future. This concept here is 4.29 meters long and 1.91 meters and also the height is 1.70 meters. The wheelbase is however 2.75 meters. That’s a bit big for these measures. You can compare it with Mini Countryman. As this is an All-Electric car, not need for long front hood.
As company told, by the production model of this electric crossover, a third-row seat is possible too. The Designer of this vehicle was Daimler and the Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) was used. The wheels are 21-inches and we can see like any other nowadays electric cars, LED lights as bars are used. Inside the vehicle follows the Idea of minimalisms but it’s hard to ignore the big 12.8-inch touchscreen. But there are no technical specs about this car.
Like any other vehicles, there will be fast-charging tech and over-the-air updates. Don’t forget a long range of travel with single charging and also next-generation infotainment system. This company promised the “highest level of dynamic handling,”.
The car will be produced in China and for the first-year debuts just locally but later it will be available in Europe too.
