McLaren made this summer hotter than ever with unveiling the most powerful open-top supercar, which they produced ever. The 765LT Spider is the name. it inherits the lightweight body and also the high-performance powertrain. Inside the car, is also so sport.
McLaren did efforts to introducing such a car to community. As this automaker argue, the 765LT Spider has the same structural rigidity as the 765LT Coupe, whereas the weight is a bit heavier (about 49 kg). the additional weight is due to the retractable hardtop and accompanying operating mechanism. But any way, this vehicle is about 80 kg lighter than the 720S Spider.
The hardtop has an electrical function and also the component is made of one-piece carbon fiber. It can be folded back in 11 seconds at 50 km/h. with this super sport car, the strength and stiffness are high enough to not needed any additional bracing. the Carbon fibers are enough to bring the rollover protection.
Under the hood of this vehicle, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is used. That engine provides 765 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Also, the transmission system is an automatic gearbox with 15 percent quicker gear change respond in compare with 720S Spider. Also, it takes just 2.8 seconds to hit 100km/h for this open top vehicle and recorded 330km/h as the top speed. McLaren sees the 765LT Spider as the fastest convertible LT model on the track it has ever developed.

To stick to the prestige, McLaren would make just 765 examples of this car, just like the coupe model before, and the 2021 ones has been already on sale. The price tag in UK is £310,500.
