When United States has Bronco, why shouldn’t Russia have Bronto. This is just like the American car, a big and beloved off-roader. Although the company, Lada announced the end of production of the Niva Bronto, but the high demand for this SUV in Russia brought it back to the production line. Lada this time focused on the interior, but the hearth of the vehicle is untouched.

As it is reported, this vehicle will be available in two versions, the Luxe model and Prestige version. The appearance is not changing. Still the old metal bumpers and 15-inches tires used for it, but prestige version changed the bumpers with beefier plastic bumpers. Also, with this trim ide sills protection, and wheel arches, fog lamps, and a model-specific radiator grille are added. Both models can have their own a LED light bar for the roof and a special “camouflage” exterior paint.

As told before, inside the car changed a lot. The new model has now a new instrument cluster plus a modified center console with new climate controls. Also, more comfortable seats with heating function, and improved noise and vibration insulation are all available for this vehicle.

The powertrain on the other hand is not changed. The famous Lada’s engine, 1.7-lite naturally aspirated gasoline engine, is under the hood. This engine produces 83-hp via four cylinders and through a five-speed manual grear box transmits the power to four-wheels. The all-wheel-drive system is used with locking front and rear differentials. The suspension is modified too and got improved.

The order is now open in Russa and the refreshed Niva Bronto goes across this country. New generation of Niva arrives in 2024 too. That vehicle uses Renault-sourced 1.3-liter turbocharged engine and that will be the first ever Niva’s car with turbo.
