In South America, Chevrolet unveiled the new Montana with a focus on providing a good acceleration-to-fuel efficiency ratio.
With dimensions of nearly 4.51.8 meters, the new Montana is more of a lifestyle vehicle than anything else. It provides the best second-row passenger room available in its class.
It also has six airbags, blind spot alert, flashy LED lighting, digital air conditioning, parking sensors, a rear camera, push-button start, wireless smartphone charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, OnStar, and built-in WiFi, which makes it a very posh little truck.
The vehicle can tow almost half its own weight and the bed can accommodate 874 liters of cargo, but according to Chevy, specs weren't the main concern.
Montana has a 1.2-liter Turbo Flex three-cylinder engine that produces 133 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque as an option for its drivetrain.
The carmaker claims that the engine performs best at low rpm, making it perfect for this use. Although it hasn't yet disclosed how quickly it can reach 100 km/h, it has said that it has a highway fuel economy of 7.5 L/100 km and city fuel efficiency of 9.0 L/100 km.
Chevrolet has announced that it is officially accepting orders in Brazil for the 2023 Montana, with a starting price of $25,895 USD.
