The model of 2022 Toyota Tundra TDR Pro has been the big news for this automaker. We saw enough photos of the exterior but just recently they teased a new short clip from the interior of this big guy. But the focus here was mostly about the driving modes. The rotary dial button is used to change the drive modes.
The 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro posed its exterior and the panoramic sunroof before. But in the new video which company uploaded, the interior is getting more fascinating. As told before this truck will have a rotary dial that cycles between drive modes which is surrounded with MTS (Multi-Terrain Select), DAC (Downhill Assist Control) / Crawl, Tow / Haul (it holds the lower gears longer for more pulling power), and the self-explanatory Drive Mode buttons. Also, the big wireless charging pad is available in the teaser, which comes with red leather with "TRD Pro" stitching on the backrests.
Other aspect of this teaser, is the whole digital instrument cluster. The screen changes when the driving mode is on DAC / Crawl. By now, not enough technical information is obtained but maybe this new Tundra has the TNGA-F platform and also 10-speed automatic transmission. The new engine for this off-roader could replace the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V8, to make more power and also better fuel efficiency.
This teaser is not the last teaser of the Tundra TDR Pro, because Toyota founded a whole new page to the all teasers of this vehicle. The official reveal could take more time, so we should be amused with the teasers now.
