So many fans, were waiting for the Audi RS3 Sportback. I’m not talking about the previous models, I’m talking about the 2022 model, as the company had promised. So, after a long wait, this German automaker is ready to unveil this beloved vehicle, the next-generation RS3.

This car, is a small one, but its so popular that Audi wanted to make the lineup bigger. Now, by the new video the both types of sedans and hatchback are fully presented. On the body, you can see the numbers “1-2-4-5-3”. it’s actually the firing order of this cars five-cylinder engine. The capacity is 2.5 liter and by a turbocharger, the power is increased.

Asking about the engine’s name. its still the TFSI engine. This engine is not just used for the RS3, the RS Q3 and TT RS models use this five-cylinder engine. This odd type of engine is one of its kinds. We can put it along with Ford's 3.2-liter diesel which beats in the Ranger truck and its Everest SUV counterpart.

Audi developed bigger air vents at front and a dual oval exhaust tip at back. Better air feeding, and faster exhaust gas leaving, two important kyes to make a Sportback. By the hatchback seems to have larger wheels and a bit closer to the road surface. In the sedan model, the subtle trunk lid spoiler is used too. By reviewing the film, the cars are almost finished and maybe, they will be officially debuted before September. It was scheduled to see these four-ring cars at IAA show in München.

Back to the engine, other little RS cars can produce 394 hp and deliver 480 Nm of torque. For sure the RS3 should perform some ting better. 414 hp of out put and 500 Nm of torque is expected.

By the way, in September 2019, this company revealed some plans on next-gen RS4 Avant with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. By obeying the new rules, by 2024 Audi has to represent partially electrified models and EVs. So, no way to run! The R and RS models will be electrified at last.
