AvtoVAZ is the firm that owns Lada and it has had a lot of trouble building and distributing new cars ever since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the sanctions imposed on the nation, and the separation from Renault Group, the carmaker nonetheless managed to unveil its first electric vehicle (EV) in the shape of a concept car.

The Largus station wagon, which is based on the original Dacia Logan, is available in an electric form as the Lada e-Largus. This car is built on the 2004-released B0 chassis from Renault-Dacia. The e-Largus' exterior styling is almost identical to that of the ICE-powered Largus, but it has an entirely covered grille, a new front bumper, and blue highlights to draw attention to its electric drivetrain.

The batteries are allegedly installed on the floor. Through a CCS connector, quick charging is possible. Despite the fact that it will reportedly be available in five- and seven-seat passenger versions as well as a freight panel van, according to Russian media. Some sources claim that the distance between two charges might be up to 250 kilometers.

Lada withheld certain information but released the first image of the e-Largus in LCV configuration with obscured rear windows. The e-Largus' specifications will be released by Lada at a later time, with the first fully working prototype rolling off the assembly line in 2023.
